‘The rear garden has been completely transformed. Gone are the dull flower beds and weed-ridden lawn; replaced instead with inspirational borders full of height and colour and a unique circular lawn with brick-framed edging. The girls have also managed to incorporate a very stylish dining area underneath a pale blue pagoda, with plenty of space for our new climbers to grow. The bistro set, in a pale blue, matches perfectly with the new blue shed!
Every part of the garden has been included in this clever design and the finished product looks much bigger than the original. There are always new plants coming up, so we have a seemingly never-ending wash of layered colour.
We are really looking forward to watching it mature over the next few years.’

The ClientOur clients, Mr & Mrs Brown are a modern couple who live on an executive and highly sought after development in Leamington Spa. They had not done anything to their back garden since moving into their property five years ago. |
The ChallengeCentering the garden around a beautifully sculptured round lawn from which we were able to project a planting plan, reflective of a meadow garden. Our seasonal planting plan focused on purple and pink flora to enhance the country garden effect. |
|
The BriefJuxtapose the challenging modernity of the executive estate with the desire to achieve a country cottage garden, and you have the brief for this challenging but rewarding project. The couple were both brought up in the country and were craving a garden that brought a little of their childhood memories into their present living space. |
The FeedbackThe clients were delighted with the emphasis to ensure the garden
was attractive to wildlife and had a positive contribution to the
betterment of the bee & insect population. The finished result was a
fusion of traditional country planting with a contemporary feel. |
