‘Thank you so much for
what you have achieved with our front garden. We love the colours and textures
that you have added; and we love the fact there is always something different
to see or enjoy out there. All our neighbours
stop and look at the garden as they walk past and a few have even asked me for
your details! We have happily obliged!’.

The ClientMr & Mrs Porter wanted to turn the driveway at the front of their house into a colourful and interesting front garden. They were keen to introduce distinct zones between space for parking the cars and the garden. |
The ChallengeThe planting plan was designed so that there was colour and interest in the planting beds throughout the year. Agreeing a design that incorporated five different sized boxed-in flower beds that were all different sizes created a real talking point as the shapes and sizes were all individual. |
|
The BriefThe clients instructed us to get rid of the lawn and concrete paving slabs and replacing them with neutral coloured pea gravel chippings. The client was also keen to add some colour and wanted us to incorporate easy to maintain flower beds which didn’t necessarily run round the perimeter of the garden. |
The FeedbackA unified planting scheme across the beds using different plants of a
similar colour palette ensured a consistency of design. The finishing
touches were colourful planters (in a complimentary deep pink and brown)
and a row of lavender around the outside perimeter. |
