Garden Design: Solutions for Problem Areas

‘Thank you for helping me with the difficult spots in my garden. I just love all your ideas and the new features in the garden which are so much fun, but completely fit in with their surroundings. We also had such a good giggle! The garden is now a complete 'room' in which to fully relax.’

Back Garden DesignThe Client
Mrs Perry lives in Solihull with her husband, Don. They are very fortunate in that their garden backs on to a lovely park: the only drawback being the large oak trees that provide a large canopy of shade over part of their delightful garden.

Garden DesignThe Challenge
Turning the problematic areas into desirable features. We worked with Audrey in tackling these problematic areas and suggested ways in which the plants weren’t the only characters!

Garden Designs

The Brief

The garden was already well established and incredibly well maintained, but there were a few difficult areas in the garden which made it difficult to grow many types of plants. For example, certain parts of the garden were very shaded – other areas were permanently damp.

The Feedback

The client was keen for us to assist her with the problem areas in her garden because of her experience and knowledge of planting and plant species. This means we can assist clients with difficult areas, thus ensuring that the entire garden looks full, healthy and colourful, whatever the conditions.
