About Kyla and Helen

After several years working as a finance director and a city lawyer, we both decided to follow our respective passions for garden design and interiors. Our previous training and business skills provides us with the benefit of 25 years’ combined experience of working in a demanding commercial environment where attention to detail and quality of client service were paramount. We endeavour to apply these same principles to every Dovetail client: thus ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard of quality.

Having both retrained and obtained qualifications in our chosen specialist areas, we have established Dovetail Design as a way of combining our complimentary design skills as an interior designer and garden designer; we are thereby uniquely positioned to maximise the relationship between your outside and inside spaces. This allows us to focus our imagination, flair and style in the creation of bespoke designs which are sympathetic to both their environment and their users.
